Dr. Nicholas Do is a Maryland native who grew up in his hometown of Gaithersburg, MD. He decided to become a dentist because he is good with his hands, and dentistry combines his passion for art and science. Dr. Do attended the University of Maryland College Park for his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology, and then went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He obtained additional training by completing a GPR residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he took on medically complicated cases, used highly-advanced science and technology, and learned every facet of dentistry.
Dr. Do initially began to realize his passion for dentistry when he began volunteering at domestic and international mission trips for HOPE for Tomorrow, a charity organization that helps provide medical and dental care to those in need. He is focused on providing practice evidence-based dentistry that truly focuses on what is best for the patient. He enjoys being able to educate patients about the procedures they need and why they need them, which helps to extinguish fear and build trust. An aspect of dentistry he loves is the ability to restore and maintain a healthy smile while bringing confidence to his patient’s every day life.
In his free time, Dr. Do is a foodie that loves to try new restaurants and likes to stay active in the gym or by playing pickleball. He has developed an affinity for spontaneous travel, and loves to experience different cultures and see beautiful sites around the world.
